An LED mirror is a mirror with lights built directly into its design. Instead of relying only on a separate wall or ceiling light, it uses integrated LED strips to illuminate the mirror, the person standing in front of it, or the surrounding wall.
LED mirrors are commonly used in bathrooms, bedrooms, dressing areas, salons, and makeup spaces. They are available in front-lit, backlit, and dual-light designs.

How Does an LED Mirror Work?
LED strips are installed behind the glass or inside the mirror’s rear housing. In a front-lit design, the light passes through frosted sections of the mirror. In a backlit design, the LEDs shine onto the wall to create a soft glow around the glass.
An LED driver converts and regulates the incoming electrical power for the LED strips and electronic controls. The mirror may receive power through a plug or a hardwired connection.
Touch sensors or control buttons allow the user to operate the lighting and any additional functions included with the mirror.
